Legal and general group plc is commonly known as Legal & General. Its head-quarter is in London and it is a British multinational financial service and asset management company.

This company was formed in a Chancery Lane coffee shop by Sergeant John Adams and five other lawyers in June 1836.


Aviva is one of the top insurance companies in the UK. Its head-quarter is in London. They have almost 33 million customers that spread in 16 countries.

This company was established in May 2000 and its name was CGNU plc. But in April 2002 it was renamed Aviva plc by the votes of the company’s shareholder.

Tesco was founded in 1919 as a group of market stalls by Jack Cohen. It is one of the largest retailers of general merchandise and multinational groceries in Welwyn Garden City, England.

By gross revenue, it is also the third-largest retailer in the world. It has expanded its business globally in the early 1990s.

Initially, Jack Cohen’s business strategy was “pile it high and sell it cheap”. But as time flies its motto changed into “YCDBSOYA” (You Can’t Do Business Sitting on Your Arse).
